Introducing our new doctor of cardiology, Jayaram Radhakrishnan, MD

With almost 30 years of experience in the field, Dr. Radhakrishnan's approach to cardiology is thorough and personal. By conducting non-invasive tests, he is able to diagnose common heart problems and suggest an appropriate path for treatment. Dr. Radhakrishnan takes into account all factors of a patient's health when making a diagnosis, including their genetics. He encourages patients to take an active role in their healthcare, takes time to explain test results, and educates patients on their condition

While medication is sometimes a necessary part of treatment, Dr. Radhakrishnan also recommends small lifestyle changes that can help with symptoms. There are many factors that can lead to heart disease. Dr. Radhakrishnan partners with his patients on their care and helps them make the personal changes necessary for a heart-healthy life.

He completed residencies and fellowships at prestigious healthcare institutions including Wayne State University/Sinai Hospital, Yale University School of Medicine and Weill Cornell Medical Center/ The Brooklyn Hospital Centre and is board certified in internal medicine, clinical genetics, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and vascular medicine.
