Introducing our new general surgeon, Gwen Bonner, MD

Dr. Bonner recently returned to the North Country after completing her residency at Baylor, Scott & White Health in Temple, Texas, and her Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. Dr. Bonner brings a comprehensive approach to the surgical care of patients with a variety of diseases and conditions that may require or benefit from surgical treatment. Her focus is on breast-conserving surgery for breast cancers, gastrointestinal, and abdomen complaints. Dr. Bonner sees patients as young as five years old and will recommend minimally invasive surgeries, including advanced laparoscopy, whenever possible to minimize scarring and recovery times.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Bonner received her doctorate from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, American College of Physicians, and the Texas Medical Association.
