SLHS Presents AIDS and STDs –
What You Must Know Dinner Panel, June 4, 2019

Potsdam, NY – St. Lawrence Health System will present an informational panel dinner on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm at the Best Western University Inn in Canton.

Representatives from ACR Health, as well as Daniel Soule, DO, Infectious Disease Specialist, and Kylie Broughal, PA, both from Canton-Potsdam Hospital, will be speaking on AIDS treatment and prevention in St. Lawrence County, as well as other innovations in treatment of sexually transmitted diseases.

According to Dr. Soule, "While we hear less about AIDS today than in decades past, HIV is still a health concern in our county, especially for those who are sexually active, or who may be injecting drugs intravenously. Treatments have advanced, but education is still vitally important to protect yourself and those you care about."

This event is open to the general community and there is no cost for dinner; however, RSVPs are required by May 31. Please contact Community Relations Manager Deborah Chase-Lauther at (315) 261-5413 or to reserve your seat.
