Rehabilitation for Addictions

Helping you break free

Addiction is a chronic disease: this means that you or your loved one will be practicing behaviors, taking medication, or undergoing treatments intended lead to a whole new life of addiction-free living for a lifetime. There is no quick fix; instead, there are options that can help you take control over the long term.

We are the only hospital-based detoxification service north of the New York State Thruway and have seven beds which accommodate patients from seven counties. Detox services are geared toward five-day methadone taper. Patients/clients may be self-referred or referred by a provider. Patients/clients must meet stringent criteria for admission.

Our Behavioral Health Service also provides outpatient chemical dependency evaluations, intensive outpatient programming (three hours, three days per week), chemical dependency groups, as well as inpatient chemical dependency rehabilitation, and outpatient psychiatric counseling and/or medical management. These services are available to those who may not meet the criteria for inpatient detox or for whom an inpatient stay is not appropriate. Assessment of a client's needs is individualized and based on many factors; decisions are made based on space available, whether or not a patient/client is in significant withdrawal, or whether a patient/client has a current use requiring a medically monitored or supervised withdrawal.

All counselors and medical providers are certified and experienced in treating addictions.
