Physical Rehabilitation

Improving function and mobility

We offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to patients in the hospital, and on an outpatient basis. Canton-Potsdam Hospital's Department of Physical Rehabilitation is affiliated with Clarkson University's Physical Therapy Department and we work collaboratively with other specialists in pain medicine, physiatry and rehabilitation medicine, occupational medicine, and orthopedics and sports medicine. We also offer physical therapy for women's pelvic floor disorders in our Potsdam location. Certified therapists are available by calling 315-261-5460.

Outpatient Physical Therapy is available in Brasher Falls, Canton, and Potsdam, with evaluation and treatment of:

Specialized speech services of LSVT LOUD® and VitalStim®

Our Comprehensive Rehabilitation department is located in Potsdam. We provide all three therapies (Occupational, Physical and Speech) tailored to individual patient needs. Within Comprehensive Rehabilitation, we provide evaluation and treatment of a wide array of diagnoses including:
Traumatic Brain injury
Spinal cord injuries
Post concussive syndrome
Neurological Disorders
Multiple Trauma
