"We have been supporters of CPH for some time because we appreciate the excellent care and service we receive whenever we need it.
While on a spring break vacation in Florida, our son Tom developed a corneal ulcer. The ophthalmologist in Florida would only let us fly Tom home if he could transfer his care, because he needed daily monitoring. Dr. Kris VanWagner agreed to see Tom right away and went above and beyond to check him on the weekend and even between surgeries at the Hospital, so that we could get Tom back to college in time for the start of the spring quarter.
Shortly after this occurred, you announced an appeal to upgrade operating room equipment for Dr. VanWagner. We are pleased to be able to express our gratitude for his support and care during a challenging time for our family, by directing our contribution in support of your ophthalmology services.
