CPH Names DeLisle Employee of the Month

Dr. Jay DeLisle, PharmD, Pharmacist at Canton-Potsdam Hospital, has been named March’s Employee of the Month. He has been employed with CPH since 2006.
DeLisle’s co-workers say he is very conscientious about any medication his patients receive and always puts patient safety and satisfaction first. He is nothing less than dependable, hardworking, intelligent, competent, efficient, and personable.
“In addition to his routine responsibilities, Jay is open and willing to help others. He can be found in the Pharmacy, on the floors working with nurses, and rounding with medical staff. He is respectful to patients and staff alike and offers to cover extra shifts without hesitation,” said Jennifer Starnes, Pharmacy Director. “Jay plays a large role in training and education at CPH. He teaches Physical Therapy students at Clarkson, trains new nurses within ICU, serves as the primary preceptor for Albany College of Pharmacy and SUNY Buffalo students, and sits on the Infection Control and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees. I am very proud to have Jay on the Pharmacy team,” continued Starnes.
DeLisle was honored with a dish garden, Chamber gift certificates, employee of the month pin and certificate, a parking space, and the admiration of his friends and co-workers.
