Radiation Therapy Services:
The Warner Cancer Treatment Center is a full-service radiation oncology facility with a team of cancer care professionals fully dedicated toward superior care for cancer patients in Northern New York. The Warner Cancer Treatment Center is conveniently located at the SeaComm Plaza on Market Street in Potsdam.

The facility is equipped with modern radiation therapy equipment, including the Elekta/Phillips SL 20 linear accelerator. This machine uses radiation to kill cancer cells. The modern dual energy level and multiple electron energies allow for better targeting of tumor cells and sparing of healthy tissues. This treatment machine is combined with an ADAC Pinnacle 3D Treatment Planning System, and IMRT.

The center is staffed by an experienced, trained therapy staff, an ancillary staff dedicated to patient care, and a full-time Medical Physicist with many years of experience.

Medical Oncology (Chemotherapy) and Hematology Services
Canton-Potsdam Hospital's main campus at 50 Leroy Street is the location for chemotherapy and hematology services, provided through the Medical Oncology Unit. The Unit is located on the second floor of the Hospital, and is staffed by an expert infusion nurse and friendly registration staff. Dr. Howard Gold, board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology provides compassionate care focused on treatment of the whole person.
