Volunteer Services
If you are looking for a way to keep busy and make a difference at the same time, consider becoming a Canton-Potsdam Hospital Volunteer.
To become a volunteer you must be at least 14 years of age and successfully complete the Volunteer Services application process. The application process includes online volunteer application, criminal investigation check, drug screening, physical exam, immunizations if needed and volunteer orientation. The criminal investigation check, drug screening, physical exam and immunizations are provided at no cost to you.
Volunteers who are 14-15 years of age will be placed in a non-patient care assignment, 16 years of age and older can be placed in patient care areas with the exception of the Emergency Department. Volunteers who are at least 18 years of age can be placed in the Emergency Department.

Interested in Shadowing a member of our Staff?
Canton-Potsdam Hospital allows students to shadow staff, physicians and other members of the medical staff, with their permission and as their time allows. If you are interested in shadowing a staff member, please complete the Job Shadow application and please describe the type of shadowing experience you would like and the number of hours you are requesting.
Interested in an Internship with Canton-Potsdam Hospital?
Canton-Potsdam Hospital offers unpaid, educational general internships in various departments throughout the Hospital. If you are interested in fulfilling your internship requirement at CPH, please complete the Internship application.
